Medical School Admissions
For pre-med students preparing applications
Why work with me
I've been an independent premed advisor since 2022. I attended UT Southwestern Medical Center on a full-ride Presidential Scholarship, completed the preclinical curriculum and clinical clerkships, and withdrew to pursue a research-first career — so I bring a current, inside view of medical training, the application cycle, and how admissions committees evaluate candidates with research backgrounds.
My PhD training (Harvard / Joslin) and postdoctoral work at top diabetes centers also make me an effective fit for applicants considering MD/PhD or research-heavy MD programs.
Who this is for
Pre-med students at any stage — early planning, application year, or reapplicants. I work with traditional applicants and non-traditional paths (post-bacc, career-changers, MD/PhD candidates).
Format
Sessions are 60–90 minutes. I take a limited number of full-cycle clients each season; shorter engagements for essay review are also available. Remote and in-person (San Diego/Coronado). Bilingual English / Spanish.
